A Year of Growth and Connection
This year, your support has allowed us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and build meaningful connections within our community. Here are some of the key highlights from 2024 that you helped make possible:
Reaching More People
Through our monthly newsletter, we are now providing vital updates, resources, and support to more than 6,700 patients and families. This consistent connection fosters education and a sense of community for those navigating life with DCM.
Serving the Spanish Community
With the launch of Spanish versions of both the DCM Foundation and GCAC websites, we’ve opened new doors to reach Spanish-speaking patients and their families. This initiative has expanded our ability to provide accessible information and support to an even broader audience.
Expanding Our Digital Presence
Thanks to your support, our Facebook reach now averages over 1 million impressions each month, helping us share critical information and resources far and wide.
Webinar Success
This year, we welcomed over 7,100 registrants to our webinars, with nearly 3,000 attending live. Many thousands more have accessed the recordings, ensuring valuable insights reach as many people as possible.
Building Community
We’ve launched nine new gene-specific Facebook groups and partnered with three existing ones to provide tailored education and support. These groups have become vital spaces for connection and shared understanding, with even more groups planned for 2025.
Advancing Genetic Testing
One of the most exciting advancements of the year is the upcoming launch of the Genetic Cardiomyopathy Registry in January 2025. You will be seeing information from us on our January 22nd webinar explaining the registry and answering your questions.
