Donate to the DCM Foundation in honor of Matt Tarantino

Thank you for donating to the DCM Foundation in honor of Matt Tarantino. Matt passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 41. Matt left behind a loving home that was full of joy and meaning. Matt’s wife Marisa, their son Callahan and their daughter Isla were the center of his life and he cherished them dearly.

Matt’s parents, Nancy and Paul, siblings Steven (Jordan), Diana (Kevin), in-laws Brian and Laura, Carly (Kyle) and Mitchell (Becca), along with his extended family, appreciate the support shown by all of their loved ones after Matt’s passing. They are committed to carrying on his legacy and honoring his kind and generous spirit.

Matt used to write himself mantras on notecards and leave them around his house to inspire and remind himself of his various goals. To truly celebrate the legacy he leaves, we encourage everyone to ‘Live Like Matt.’ Some of his favorite sayings include:

  • Travel early and often
  • If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way
  • There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure
  • Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the Big things
  • We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand

Matt’s life made a lasting impact on so many people and he is deeply missed by those he loved.

The Dilated Cardiomyopathy Foundation is committed to providing hope and support to patients and their families with dilated cardiomyopathy through education, research and advocacy. Your donation will help support these efforts.
